In 2016, our founder Yanetsy Pena M.S.,CCC-SLP embarked on a journey driven by a deep passion to make a profound difference in the lives of children. Undeterred by the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, Yanetsy persevered, obtaining all necessary licensing qualifications, certifications, and remained steadfast in her vision to create a safe, family-oriented, and professional environment. Finally, in May 2021, our doors swung open, and our dream to positively impact the lives of children in the Miami community became a vibrant reality.
Scope of Practice
Our professional services are dedicated to assessing, treating, and providing assistance to children who are experiencing challenges related to Speech-Language Delays/Disorders, Socio-Pragmatic Delays, Articulation Delays, Swallowing and Phonological Disorders. We recognize that there are various reasons why children may require Speech-Language therapy, including but not limited to, hearing impairments, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD), Intellectual Disabilities, Developmental delays, weak oral muscles, Cleft lip or Cleft Palate, Motor Planning deficits, Phonological Disorders, poor articulation skills, Fluency disorders (stuttering), Feeding and swallowing disorders, Traumatic brain injury, and others.
Early intervention and therapy are strongly recommended as they play a crucial role in promoting optimal development. By initiating services during the early stages of life, we can maximize the potential for positive outcomes and facilitate the acquisition of essential communication skills.
